For the past two years, Seven Directions has been building a non hierarchical community based school. We've worked quietly, and intentionally to create a business model that is both ethical but also holds ceremony and reciprocity in the heart of all we do.
When in Mexico in February, I was in a sacred cenote when a vision came through that I needed to formally root our school into being, so I invited Abuela Martha, one of my primary mentors, to be our ceremony host. She said YES and so we bring forward the blessing of one of Mexico's most revered traditional healers.
To welcome Abuela Martha Pico as the ceremonial host is a dream come true for me, and we are deeply honoured to invite you to join us. We will also be joined by Medicine Woman Alejandra Cuesta and the Abuela's incredible apprentice Samanta Ix.
About the day:
The Breath of Existence at Winterbourne, a new venue in Somerton where the land truly speaks and we listen.
Abuela Martha's work is a living laboratory of sacred geometry and breath. Through conscious breathing, coded movement, and ritual, Abuela Martha will guide participants into direct experience of the invisible fabric that gives form to matter.
This way, as we drop in, the body is understood not as an isolated system, but as a conscious node within a holographic web where each breath becomes a quantum pulse, an exchange between the personal field and the wider unified field of consciousness and existence.
The five elements earth, water, fire, air, and ether are met as dynamic intelligences that inhabit both the body and the cosmos. In resonance with the ley lines of the land beneath us, authentic channels of planetary intelligence, the group will activate living circuits that reflect the architecture of the universe itself.
In this space, geometry ceases to be a concept and becomes embodied language. The body remembers its fractal nature, its capacity to resonate with universal patterns, and to align with the organising intelligence of the cosmos. In these times, we need unification more than ever!
Participants can expect: expanded perception of subtle fields, embodied understanding and integration of living geometries and the five elements, and conscious alignment with planetary and cosmic networks.
We will practice Breathwork as part of this event, typically allowing the ceremony and the land to dictate the flow!
This day of ceremony is open to all, and we warmly invite you to join us.

Abuela Martha Pico is a Mexhica nahual, curandera, sobandera, and tiempera whose lineage reaches deep into the indigenous Tenet Pamé tradition. Steph Magenta is the founder of Seven Directions Breathwork Training School. An elder now in her 65th year, she is a mother of 3, a shamanic practitioner and has a huge passion for community building and co-creative practice.
Steph has spent years invested in deepening her understanding of consent, power dynamics, ethics, authentic relating, and the human body. Her path from addiction to freedom led her through many plant medicine initiations where Steph found her way home to her original truth, that of innocence and love. She brings compassion, wisdom and understanding to her work.
