Steph Magenta is a fully trained and highly experienced Breathwork Facilitator, holding a wide range of qualifications in various supporting somatic practices. She is an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor, Licensed Bodywork Therapist and Shamanic Practitioner, holding over three decades of experience in detox, health and healing. Steph is deeply passionate and ever curious about the potential for this remarkable work and aspires to evolve both her personal practice and the training we offer at Seven Directions®, believing that a responsive and reflexive approach to our work significantly holds the potential to enhance our profession in this times of the rapid growth of popularity in breathwork .
Steph brings a background in published addiction research, award winning writing, and sexual freedom advocacy to her work. An international retreat and events leader, she has always maintained a strong investment in providing grounded, safe, and ethical practice, rooted in informed training and ongoing personal self development.
She is recognised in her work for holding accessible, embodied practice, holding a strong focus on integration, and professional ethics and competence.
She has been leading free online weekly breathwork sessions for 5 years - you can join those sessions by going to our Breathe With Us page.
Steph is also passionately invested in her shamanic practice and training, and brings her respect for the ways of the ‘Sacred Circle’ to this program. She is trained in TRE trauma release work, authentic relating and Dr Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent.
Steph is a huge advocate of cold & heat exposure practices, nervous system regulation and the importance of connection and community as pathways to healing.
She is a Shift Network Breathwork Summit presenter and faculty course provider, and was a recent keynote speaker in Kenya, Africa 2023 for The Global Inspiration Conference as part of Breathe Africa International, speaking about ethical breathwork practice.
She currently lives in the north west of England on land originally held by the Celtic Brigantes.

Robyn Dalzen is a Consent Educator. She joins us to teach the crucial nature of Interpersonal Consent in somatic work & therapy, using Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent as her framework here.

Prema McKeever, Faculty
Prema is a Somatic Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and experienced body and breathworker. She joins us to teach the Psychology of Trauma

Sue is anxeperienced sex & relationship coach and Supervisor for embodiment workers. She joins us to teach professional boundaries, & ethics in practice, which is integral to our work.

Maya LaRose, faculty
Maya is an Algonquin Elder based in Canada. She is a Personal Support Worker, End-of-life Doula, Knowledge Keeper & Community weaver. Maya has devoted her life to being in service and is endlessly grateful to Spirit and to the many teachers who have helped define her path and gain the skills needed to fulfill her passion. She brings in the Seven Grandfather Teachings. Miigwech

Sisonke Papu (KHNYSA), faculty
Ritual and Ceremony as Technologies of the Self, Community and Consciousness. Sisonke joins us to bring the fundamental aspects of ritual, ceremony, ancestry, lineage and land awareness into our program. He is the bridge between the practice and the mystery of human consciousness. His sessions create truly profound transmissions!

Timmie Larode, Faculty (Canada)
Timmie is a multi-dimensional healer, Tobaquera and Medicine Woman born in Trinidad and Tobago. Much of her work is deeply rooted around healing the inner child, and healing trauma within the collective especially for her black and brown relatives. Her work comes with an infusion of Caribbean and African spirituality.
Timmie joins us to offer a monthly integration in our Canada/US cohort using ritual, shamanism and ceremony.

Nisarga Eryk Dobosz, Faculty
Nisarga is an esteemed member of the BBTRS® faculty and holds expertise in Compassionate Inquiry, Myofascial Energetic Release and Biodynamic Craniosacral techniques. Guiding us in the anatomy & physiology of breathing, Nisarga reveres the human body as a sacred temple, advocating its treatment with the highest degree of respect and admiration. This philosophy underpins his work and reflects a profound desire to comprehend and trust the body’s boundless potential for self-regulation and self-healing.

Teodora is a Romanian born Somatic, Trauma & Touch Practitioner with a focus on developmental trauma and nervous system education. Teo brings teaching on somatic experiencing, IFS parts work and nervous system regulation from a wide range of corporate and community backgrounds to our program.

Rebecca is a non-Indigenous Canadian committed to Truth & Reconciliation, currently living on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas, land covered by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant. Rebecca is proud to call ‘Hamilton’ home. She walks a strong shamanic path and weaves her Medicine into her practice.

Ali headl oul EU daytime training from October 2024. She also holds the lead for our student integration circles which form an integral part of our training. Ali is a natural when it comes to calm and gracious space holding - she is our longest standing mentor.

Rebecca Baker, 1-2-1 Trainer, mentor training supervision lead
Seven Directions® & Integrative Breath. Double certified breathworker.
Rebecca is a former teacher of performing arts. She is one of our primary 1-2-1 teaching team staff and she supervises our mentoring team. Her previous experience as a former teacher gives her great clarity in her own teaching skills as a 1-2-1 Trainer.
